1. Give us a personal background on yourself? (Where are you from, where do you reside, what’s your preferred medium? Are you a cat or dog person? We want to know!)
Born in Venezuela, based in Miami.
I ask people to smile smile for me for a living.
Natural looks, Internalized Art and passion drives me.
2. How did you first start your journey towards becoming an artist?
10 years ago I learned how to develop films from my dad’s camera.
3. When was the first time you really saw yourself as an artist?
I started to represent and express myself through photography what I couldn’t state with words. Started as a hobby, ended up as a career I want to keep feeding myself with.
4. What has been your happiest moment as an artist?
My proudest moment in photography would be every single moment I can help
somebody smile again looking at themselves. The representation of ourselves in a still frame will always be terrifying, even for me.
The mission to stop the fear of showing the real self of everyone through my photography has been one of my best accomplishments, and for that, cannot shake the feeling that I’m on the right path.
5. What kind of music do you like to listen to when you work?
Music taste. Depends on the mood, I can go from Arctic Monkeys to Zedd pretty quick.
My favorite musical group will always be The Last Shadow Puppets, Favorite Song: Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day.
6. If you could leave us with one thought, what would it be?
“There’s no mysticism in people, it’s in their energy.”
